This fishing report is given as a courtesy. It is mostly composed of my personal fishing experience, but may contain information from others. I was on the water Friday night, and enough changed from Monday’s report that I am not going to wait two weeks to tell you about it. The crappie moved. Not a lot, but enough that if you go out this weekend running my last report, you will be fishing under them. What Changed on Lake O’ the Pines Monday I told you brush piles in 16 feet or less for numbers, timber for the trophies. The numbers part of that has shifted shallower. Friday night I was catching them in 10 to 13 feet of water. I have been catching them in 16. That is a real move, and it happened inside of a week. They were also bunched up on laydown timber — fallen stuff on the bottom — not the standing timber as much. And they were stacked. When I found them, I found a pile of them.
